Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
The Shakespeare Inn offers clean and spacious rooms, some being in converted cottages, conveniently located on the high street close to Kendal's shops, cafes, and restaurants. Guests often appreciate the comfortable beds and quiet atmosphere in rooms like the Titania room, where the shower is excellent. Breakfast is usually a delicious and varied selection, though some guests have occasionally found it to be a continental breakfast in the fridge instead of a cooked one. Many guests also find the courtyard parking a bit tight but manageable, especially for motorcycles.

Check-in was easy and straightforward. The room was clean and well kept. Breakfast offered a delicious and diverse selection.
The room upstairs had a small radiator. It struggled to heat the room adequately. The quilt provided was quite thin. I found rust spots on the shower taps.
