jammed window musty smell
the breakfast was decent and gave me energy for my morning hike.
the room felt quite stuffy since one window was jammed shut and would not open. also, the bathroom had this strange musty smell that bothered me. i did expect a little more comfort considering the price i payed.

i booked a room last minute and i was thrilled. the room had very comfortable beds. i enjoyed the tranquil atmosphere. breakfast was spot on with a wide range of choice including gluten free options and i found that very helpful.

i appreciated the efficient drying facilities. the comfortable lounge offered space to sit. the room featured a lovely bed bedroom and bathroom. complimentary scones and hot drinks were available on arrival they were most welcome after a long journey.
the hotel food portions seemed somewhat small given it is a walking area

I really enjoyed the complimentary tea and coffee bar. It was very appropriate after my long drive. My room was spacious and overlooked the river. It also had clean bedding and soft bath towels.
The breakfast wasn't great. The poached eggs were underdone with runny egg white. The drying room lacked heat when I went to use it. It was only used for storage.
