heartfelt stay in borrowdale

professional staff second night christmas decoration
I found the staff kind and professional. we stayed a second night, longer than planned, due to the nice welcome. the christmas decorations really enhanced the hotel's look. They were well thought out.
I had a small problem. the cold buffet offered poor options. There weren't many choices.
Dining

the pre-mixed cocktails were expensive (over £10). my packed lunch was not what i expected. it was advertised with more variety, but all i received were sandwiches with spreads. the rooms were also uncomfortably hot, even when the weather outside was cold.
