the breakfast had a good choice of local produce. the staff assisted me in every way they could. the location suited my needs for walking along hadrian's wall. plenty of amenities were nearby.

the staff were friendly and check-in was easy. the car park at the rear of the hotel was convenient. i also appreciated the food quality.
this caused some inconvenience reaching upper floors. i found the noise from nearby rooms occasionally disruptive.
