some issues need attention
missing bedside tables insufficient heating
I stayed in a double room and found a few things lacking. there were no bedside tables, lamps, or accessible power outlets. this made charging my phone overnight difficult. the quilt was also not warm enough. I was cold even with the extra blanket (a thicker duvet would improve things).

Awesome Central Stay!

The location was SUPER central! It was perfect for easily walking to the pubs and restaurants nearby. Free parking was available around the corner. That was a HUGE plus. I'll definitely be back!
The room was quite cold. A better quilt is needed. bedside lamps would be really helpful, as there aren't any, and the LED strip lights cannot be turned off from the bed!

Many restaurants and cafes are just a short walk away from the hotel. Jasper's cafe is less than a two-minute walk and provides an excellent breakfast alternative. I LOVED IT!!!

The hotel is in the town centre, right on the doorstep of everything. It allows very easy access to shops, bakeries, and other amenities. I loved how quiet it was despite being so central.

The room was super clean and cosy. The bed was comfortable. The room provided a lovely view overlooking the town to the hills beyond!!!

ensuite bathroom good rate
The Skiddaw room had a very spacious living area. The bedroom was in the back, complete with an ensuite. It was VERY clean. The room rate was good and Jason and Alison sorted car park, a mere 2 mins away. Thank you.
I noticed led strip lights which cannot be turned off without getting out of the bed.
