countryside charm
excellent facilitiesdaily biscuits
i had lyth cottage it included excellent facilities. the bed was comfortable everything was super clean. complimentary tea coffee chocolate water and biscuits were provided daily a nice touch.
at 8.00am the temperature in the room was 13c with no heating. breakfast was not available until 9 o'clock a big problem when we had to be in kendal for 9.15.

The breakfast arrangement was inconvenient. breakfast service only began at 9 am. we were locked out of the dining area until then. this delayed our start for the day. If on vacation it would be fine!

beautiful viewtop stafflate breakfast
everything was wonderful for two nights. we had a beautiful view from the pub. the staff was great and the food delicious.
the breakfast service started late. finding the times on the website proved difficult. we had to queue, which delayed our start.
