good breakfast bus service check-in problem poor repair
the breakfast was very good. it was close to bus services and also an excellent starting point for walks. i had great access to trails.
staff were no where to be found when i needed to check-in. the rooms were worn and the repair was poor. i did expected better.

the location is excellent, centrally located in the lake district. the staff are helpful and polite. complimentary tea and coffee were available, something i always appreciate.
the curtains did not block the light well, allowing daylight into the room early.

the gardens were lovely, a romantic feature i adored. the staff always smiled. i found the easy access to walks from the doorstep so nice.

location was great with beautiful, tranquil grounds. i loved the continental breakfast. free coffee and tea was available anytime. the house has relaxing environment. the staff was very friendly too.
the room was dated. the bed had broken slats. i used my inhaler often due to dust mites in the room.
