Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
The Cuckoo Brow Inn is often praised for its home-cooked Sunday lunch, which many find amazing. Guests appreciate the spacious and clean rooms, sometimes noting the convenience of walking to the Windermere ferry in 20 minutes. A few guests have mentioned that some family rooms had a musty smell. Despite this, the exotic Chicken Curry is a popular choice, and the log fire in the bar creates a great atmosphere for those returning from walks around Wray Castle or exploring the many footpaths.

I must state my dissatisfaction. The pillows provided were quite hard. This impacted the quality of my sleep. I also observed that the room became excessively bright early in the morning. This made it difficult to sleep later. The provision of blackout curtains would solve this matter.
