Victorian Charm and Woodland Walks

The building is grand and overlooks the Kent estuary, offering amazing views. My room included tea and coffee making facilities. I appreciated the woodland walk. My dog enjoyed it first thing in the morning. There were plenty of parking spaces available .
The lift was out of service, and I overheard another guest mentioning it was out during their previous stay.

Every staff member I encountered was good, from reception to housekeeping. They greeted me really. Customer service is clearly a top priority at this hotel. Bar and waiter service was attentive and friendly.

The hotel boasts a Fine location, overlooking Morecambe Bay. The building has lovely grounds and a nice walking area. It is a great spot for exploring the nearby Lake District.

i found ample free parking spaces throughout my visit. my room had a great view overlooking the bay. the staff demonstrated attentiveness to detail.
the room seemed a bit worn the cracked glass in the window was hard to overlook.

I loved the breakfast selection. It included so many choices and had great service. my room had good size, and the bathroom? so large! the reception staff was really cute, so its a good stop over. i would stay again definitely!

My room had enormous windows and high ceilings. the view faced the sea, which i loved. there was also a very powerful hot shower. That thing was amazing!

The grounds were extensive and gorgeous. i also saw a peacock in the garden. So cute! its location provided a quick walk down to the promenade to admire the flower beds.

Solid Stay With Attentive Service

The staff were very helpful. They stored my bicycle in an office. I ate in the bar. The steak pie was excellent. The hotel provided easy parking and spacious grounds.
I found some cobwebs and a spider in the wardrobe. The room could use some cleaning.

I enjoyed the food in the bar, especially the steak pie. The bar staff was attentive. Breakfast also included a good tasty fried breakfast, fruit, yoghurt, and toast.

The room had a bath and separate shower with plenty of hot water available! Usual towels, tea, coffee, milk with biscuits were present. I had a balcony looking out onto the car park and woods.

The hotel offers lovely walks from the front door! The setting is beautiful and peaceful. The hotel is also not far from train station.

Check-in and check-out were quick? Mints and extra tea and coffee were available near reception. Staff efficiently managed bicycle storage in an office. The staff were all friendly.

The afternoon tea was enjoyable. I appreciated the availability of treats for my dog upon arrival. The big bath was certainly welcome after a day outdoors. I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful throughout my stay.
The windows could have been cleaner.

dated room thin walls
the staff were friendly and helpful
i found the room quite dated and worn the shower head looked like it needed replacing so i avoided using it i also experienced significant noise from other rooms making it difficult to sleep well walls seemed very thin.
