Beds were comfortable. it also provided a great view over the lake. the staff were very friendly and the breakfast was a total delight. to top it off, the weather was amazing, so i sat in the gardens with a drink from the well-stocked bar.
i think the hotel should review the parking policy, since i was charged £15 a day for it.

Charmed by the Lakeside Stay

lake view modern bathroom breakfast selection smooth check-in
I had a room with a lake view. It was a double room. The room included a modern bathroom and clean space. Breakfast offered a great full English, yogurt, and fresh fruit. The staff greeted us. They took our bags at reception, and the check-in process was smooth. I also got sorted for parking!
My only very slight annoyance was scaffolding.

The staff sorted parking for us. I would say staff are the main asset to this hotel along with the location next to the lake.
The room had no conditioner. I hadn't brought my own, because a four star hotel generally provides it. This was quite disappointing. I should have checked more carefully.
