slow bar service overflowing fridge
The room was large with good facilities! Parking was easy.
The reception placement is so smart. It's at the end of the main bar. Dinner involved several menu changes because so many items weren't available, a culinary adventure, I suppose. Bar service was slow. One staff member served guests while two others meticulously arranged an overflowing wine fridge. Such efficiency!

early closure rushed feeling
I booked dinner for 6. they told us the kitchen shut at 8pm. one staff member asked if we wanted hot drinks, she wanted to clean the coffee machine. another asked about dessert because she wanted to close the kitchen. It felt rushed.

pretty lighting comfortable seating watery gravy lacking flavor
i found the gardens to be well maintained. there was comfortable seating available outside, and the lighting was pretty in the evening. (a nice touch!).
the dinner i ordered was disappointing. the turkey mixture lacked flavor and the gravy tasted watery. i also had to collect my own cutlery and condiments from a shelf.

the staff was friendly the room was spacious and well decorated. the bathroom was bright and clean. i enjoyed the food particularly breakfast and dinner.
the pillows were not comfortable and affected my sleep a little.

i found the room spacious. the breakfast choice was excellent. staff was very pleasant and helpful. i will return definitely.
the pillows are synthetic and did not provide the best comfort.
