Very nice Stay with Amazing Lake Views!!!

quiet roombreakfast selectionhelpful staffuncontrolled heating
I was lucky to get a room overlooking the lake and hills. It was so quiet. Breakfast had a wide selection on offer and tasted great. The staff were friendly and very helpful. .!!
The heating was on, and I found no way to turn it off. I had to open the windows, and it was still a bit uncomfortable. I wish there was an easier way to control the temperature in the room.

Mixed experience at Art Deco Hotel

continental optionsinadequate heatingbathroom radiator
The breakfast offered a good selection of both cooked and continental options, acceptable.
Upon arrival, the customer service felt cold. The heating seemed inadequate. The radiators were off and the window was open in my room. The bathroom radiator did not work, though the pipes offered some warmth, a detail not ideal for a hotel catering to walkers needing facilities like a wet room and a lit fire.

Very nice Haweswater Experience!

delicious breakfastinsane viewsfabulous decorseparate bedroom
I enjoyed a delicious continental breakfast with so much variety, i was very pleased. My suite had insane views, and the Japanese plunge bath was amazing after a long day. The decor throughout is fabulous and the staff are hard working. I loved the separate bedroom. It was a great feature.
I noticed that the portions at dinner were on the smaller side, though the quality was top notch.
Facilities

The hotel features a cozy bar area. It includes a selection of local ales and spirits. There is also a restaurant with options for everyone.
Rooms

My room included a king-sized bed with premium bedding and blackout curtains, i slept very well. The suite had a separate seating area with plush sofas. I enjoyed the complimentary toiletries in the spacious bathroom.
