the location is a little tricky because bowness has a busy road without a proper footpath for walking.

I stopped here after a wedding. It was great to see the high quality remains! We had an AMAZING dinner in the restaurant. The service was first class. The steak was perfect!!!
The parking charge was a bit steep, especially since there aren't many other options nearby.

the breakfast was good there were many options available it was pretty standard stuff.
the parking fee was something else i paid 12 pounds for parking it seemed like daylight robbery for the middle of nowhere i mean really.
