The Drunken Duck Inn offers a memorable dining experience, with some considering the Sunday lunch and mushroom parfait on par with Michelin-starred restaurants. Guests often highlight the spacious and prettily decorated rooms, complemented by a delicious breakfast. The bar provides a cosy Cumbrian pub feel with a real fire, though a few guests have noted that the restaurant atmosphere can feel less relaxed. Many appreciate the great selection of wines and beers, and the convenient location for exploring the area.

Mixed experience. Food quality inconsistent
salty dishes insufficient heating
the food quality needs improvement. several dishes were excessively salty, rendering them almost inedible. one course was not sufficiently heated. it needed to be sent back twice before it arrived hot. these issues greatly detracted from the meal.
