lots of choicecar park potholeslack of paving
breakfasts offered lots of choice i found the location good with a spacious bar area
the car park had potholes it was difficult to wheel cases to the front door the lack of hard paving was an issue for me

the location is actually on the lake, i found many little pods for sitting and enjoyed the scenery. even lanterns are in the room if you want a walk in the evening. the hotel is so dog friendly, that is excellent.
the room felt a little dark, i think upper floor room got more light.

this building has fine surrounding land that lead to the lake. the hotel grounds are lovely, with amazing views and walks through the fairy garden. it's an excellent location. there is onsite parking.

i enjoyed the grounds. they had great views and walks to the lake. pods with blankets were available. these allowed one to sit, eat, drink, and soak up the views.
The food was not great quality. the chips were woeful. i have had better supermarket frozen chips. the beer garden near the hotel smelled strongly of sewage. This was present for all three days of my stay.

Really good Hospitality by the Lake
spacious groundswarm experienceelectric shower
The grounds have an open, spacious feel. Breakfast had good variety. The twin room was adequately sized for two people. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Alex, Linda, and Max. I appreciated the warm and positive experience.
I found achieving a desirable water temperature in the shower difficult because of the random idiosyncrasies of the electric shower itself. It was a top floor room and unbearably hot at 12 degrees outside. I think that the inclusion of a fan would be a good idea.

The staff was fantastic and was eager to assist guests. The manager was efficient. The team provided a high standard of service. They managed everything in a professional manner.

The twin room was adequately sized. Necessary amenities were available . The beds were very comfy. The rooms were clean. I also noticed the hotel allows dogs.

Breakfast was lovely, and there was good variety. The food was of a high standard and well presented. The dinner menu had good choice. I think the restaurant is excellent.
