Really good beers and location!

awesome beer perfect steak useful parking
The beer selection was awesome. I especially liked the locally brewed options. The location is amazing. My steak with peppercorn sauce was cooked perfectly, just how I like it. The parking area was very useful.

The pub food was decent, specifically the real chicken breast in the chicken burger.
The mattress was very thin. I barely slept. The scraping of chairs late at night was quite disruptive. Breakfast lacked variety.

The beams in our Double Room were fine. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Car parking on-site was so convenient for exploring the area!
The room was located quite a distance from the main entrance, involving several steps.

A Cozy Retreat

warm welcome convenient location excellent beer cozy atmosphere
The staff extended the warmest welcome making me feel like a friend. The location was very convenient. The beer selection was excellent. The pub had a lovely roaring fire creating a cozy atmosphere.

mixed feelings about this place

supermarket bread frozen chips
the staff were friendly enough, i guess.
I paid nearly twenty quid for a sandwich and chips. the sandwich was made with supermarket bread, and the chips were frozen. nothing was fresh. It seemed like absolute junk.
