The breakfast service was attentive. I had a room with a bath. The bed was massive and comfortable , even though it was listed as a standard double.
The room was a bit noisy because I was near the kitchen.

The room was very clean and well presented. I found the staff to be friendly and polite . The menu offered a good variety, and the food was nicely cooked and presentable (i was particularly impressed with the fish and chips!).
I found that soundproofing could be improved, as noise from adjacent rooms was occasionally audible.

The hotel sits in a fantastic location. It is on the lake and feels peaceful. The car parking was spacious and safe. I could launch my kayak from the jetty.
My room was small and dated. It had no view except the rear car park. The curtain pelmet was just a strip of unpainted plywood.

I found the location excellent for walks without needing a car. the staff were lovely. Their cute and helpful nature made a real difference. i enjoyed warm and clean rooms. breakfast was excellent with many choices and good cooked options.
i found that the room had many issues. it seemed to be right above the kitchen. i noticed the room felt hot and that there was an extractor fan that came on early in the morning and lasted until late at night.

the breakfast buffet offered plentiful options, including excellent cooked items. i saw that the hotel offered sausages and treats specifically for dogs, a thoughtful and cute detail for pet owners. dining in the bar area provided a cozy atmosphere with an open fire.

The rooms were clean, presented well, and warm. The bathroom facilities were excellent plus i saw that rooms have doors that open directly onto the garden, a lovely feature for enjoying the surroundings. comfy beds and reliable wifi added to the experience.
