attentive breakfast comfortable bed
The breakfast service was attentive. I had a room with a bath. The bed was massive and comfortable , even though it was listed as a standard double.
The room was a bit noisy because I was near the kitchen.

my spacious double room included a lake view. the breakfast buffet had various options including fresh fruit and pastries. the hotel also provided complimentary toiletries.

Really good stay, highly recommend
clean room polite staff good menu
The room was very clean and well presented. I found the staff to be friendly and polite . The menu offered a good variety, and the food was nicely cooked and presentable (i was particularly impressed with the fish and chips!).
I found that soundproofing could be improved, as noise from adjacent rooms was occasionally audible.

Adequate stay near the lake

The hotel sits in a fantastic location. It is on the lake and feels peaceful. The car parking was spacious and safe. I could launch my kayak from the jetty.
My room was small and dated. It had no view except the rear car park. The curtain pelmet was just a strip of unpainted plywood.

loud fan hot room
the location was acceptable the views were there.
the room was right above the kitchen it got too hot. the extractor fan was very loud it came on early and ran until late at night i couldn't even hear the owls.

a good getaway
excellent location helpful staff
I found the location excellent for walks without needing a car. the staff were lovely. Their cute and helpful nature made a real difference. i enjoyed warm and clean rooms. breakfast was excellent with many choices and good cooked options.
i found that the room had many issues. it seemed to be right above the kitchen. i noticed the room felt hot and that there was an extractor fan that came on early in the morning and lasted until late at night.
