decent size early departure
The twin room was a decent size. the complimentary wi-fi worked without issues. breakfast included a selection of cereals, it was adequate. the staff made my early departure easier. It was appreciated.
the staircase to my room felt somewhat steep though i managed alright.

The room was clean. I think it was a double room. it had a kettle with coffee and tea. the staff was friendly (i especially appreciated the warm welcome).
the breakfast size was slightly small.

the hotel had a quiet location. there was motorcycle parking away from the road. the location is good for city walking. the building stands back from the road, so it felt quiet (which is nice).

charming stay near the border
warm welcome helpful staff well presented buffet homely feel
i found the welcome very warm when i checked in. the staff helped me decorate my room, i liked that very much. the buffet looked so well presented and the team aided us pack some food away after the party. it felt very homely.
the water pressure in the shower was very low.

my stay included some disappointments. the bathroom grout had significant mold. soundproofing was essentially nonexistent. i hoped for better rooms, especially considering the price i paid..

a quiet spot, if imperfect
coffee facilities clean bed new carpet
the room contained tea, coffee, and kettle. the reception helped me when I requested refills, a nice touch. i found clean beds. new carpets exist now, a welcome upgrade. the breakfast was acceptable.

the lounge featured a BIG television, a pleasant touch. a bar operated inside the hotel, pouring almost every drink for £5. free wifi service, also a definite plus for travelers, kept me connected without trouble.

ample parking convenient location easy access
I found ample parking available at the front. The room included everything i needed. The location proved convenient, providing easy access to local amenities and public transport (the bus stop was very close!).
The decor in the room felt a little dated.

The breakfast included cooked-to-order options (i had eggs) and was served on hot plates, which i appreciated, so everything stayed hot. The hotel bar offered drinks at reasonable prices throughout the day.

Free wifi worked well throughout the hotel, enabling me to stay connected without issues. There was a restaurant just across the road that i used. I found that the hotel provided very good access to the city using the bus.
