fresh pastries short walk
the breakfast included a great choice of items i enjoyed the fresh pastries i also found the rooms were serviced daily with care. the hotel had a short downhill walk to bowness that was convenient
the water pressure on the upper floors was not great it was difficult to shower

i found the location great! it was easy to walk to both townships. the staff were really good, i was so impressed. the breakfasts were divine too!
Room 113 had an awful smell in the bathroom, i noticed it right away. the toilet flush was shocking! the toilet seat was also loose. It should have been fixed when the rooms were cleaned.

friendly staff great breakfast
the staff worked hard. i really appreciated the breakfast. i found many choices available, including scrambled egg with smoked salmon. i felt full after the meal.
the hotel is old, and i heard the floorboards squeak all night. people walking above kept me awake. i found this inconvenient.

the room was nicely decorated and cosy. it was a good size. the bathroom included a spa bath, a great shower, large white fluffy towels, and complimentary toiletries, all very convenient.
