The staff was polite. They offered great service. The food in the restaurant was good. The location allowed for immediate access to hiking trails, a significant plus.
Road noise was a problem. My room was close to the road. This disturbance made it hard to sleep well. The bed felt firm and uncomfortable.

good staff excellent management clean hotel thoughtful touches
i found the staff to be really good and the management excellent. the hotel was very clean , also it was very dog friendly. the breakfast was very good , a perfect start to the day. i really liked that there were many thoughtful touches in my attractively decorated room.
the waitress's attitude was quite impolite , and i did not appreciate her brusque manner at all.

the location was perfect. it allowed starting hiking directly from the hotel. circular walks are accessible directly from the building , which is a really nice touch.

the rooms had a high standard finish , and the attention to detail was apparent throughout the building. the historic building was beautifully restored. it provided a great atmosphere.
