Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
The Log House enjoys a superb location, just a short walk from Ambleside town centre and within easy reach of the lake, with a bus stop conveniently located right outside for exploring Keswick and Bowness. Many guests appreciate the well-equipped, modern rooms; some have noted the rooms, while spacious, can feel a little small. The rooms often feature thoughtful touches like fridges, tea and coffee facilities, and even mountain views, plus it's common to find lovely extras like balloons and rose petals upon arrival for special occasions. The Bassa cafe, just over the road, offers a discount for hotel residents, and the nearby Hayes Garden Centre is another popular spot for meals.

The WiFi was not always reliable. This made the TV somewhat difficult to use (hopefully, they will fix this soon!).

loud noise creaky floors
the room was clean.
The noise level was unacceptable. I could clearly hear guests talking as if they were in the same room. the floors above creaked loudly until late at night, and again early in the morning. i suggest replacing the laminate with carpet in those rooms.
