a charming stay

warm welcome comfortable room radiant pub lovely breakfast
The staff welcomed me warmly after my long hike (i really needed that). the room offered comfort, and the pub radiated warmth, exactly what i desired after a challenging day. i particularly enjoyed my chats with the breakfast gentleman. He provided excellent service. breakfast differed nicely from typical fare, setting me up perfectly for another hike.

Charming Pub Stay

generous portions friendly staff clean room easy access
The food was amazing and plentiful (portion sizes were generous!). The staff were attentive during my meal. The room was clean and equipped with everything necessary. The location is a great hidden gem. I had easy access to areas within the Lake District.
The coffee from the dispensing machine tasted weak.

I had the chicken burger with blue cheese and my husband ordered the burger. We both were very pleased with our selections. The restaurant had a warm, cute atmosphere and the staff made sure we were well taken care of. I highly recommend the pizzas and the Sunday lunch.
