Lovely Stay, A Real Gem!

excellent location car charger breakfast variety room fridge
I loved the excellent location! It's just a short distance from the town. Access to the car charger was such a bonus, I really appreciated it. The breakfast had a good variety of options, a great way to start the day. I also loved having a fridge in the room. It was super convenient.
I noticed a slight issue, the staff weren't always super attentive! Sometimes, I felt a little overlooked.

Solid stay

cafe grand breakfast choice moulton brown
the food in cafe grand is really good and there is a lot of choice. Breakfast options are also plentiful, what a good thing. Bathroom amenities includes moulton brown toiletries, that makes things a little more special.
On arrival, staff gave us access cards and said our room was over there through the gap in the hedge. that seems like a lack of attentiveness.
Location
9/10
This hotel has a fantastic location near the edge of the village. It is literally a few minutes walk from the centre. Quiet area it is also easy to set off walking from here, i liked this.
Rooms
8/10
our double room had a pleasant makeover since our last visit. It was quiet and spacious but required decorative attention. all essentials are fine, like the shower, fridge, kettle, tv, and towel rail.
Facilities
9/10
there is plenty of space inside and out at this location. This place has lovely quiet location with views as well as easy walking to the centre. It's well located for a peaceful visit.

generally decent experience

helpful staff included breakfast clean room noisy plumbing limited bar selection early closure
my room was clean, it was a double room mountain view. the hotel staff helped me with directions to local trails. i appreciated the included breakfast with several choices.
The plumbing made some noise during the night. also the bar closed quite early on a saturday night. i thought the bar selection was limited. There were only a couple of vodka options.

fantastic location easy access fresh biscuits staff engagement air conditioning window flies
The location is fantastic. It provides easy access to local attractions. My room was cleaned daily. It was stocked with fresh tea, coffee, and biscuits each day.
Check-in could have been better. The staff did not seem very engaging. My room's air conditioning was not initially turned on. This meant I had to deal with flies upon opening the window.
