beverley greeted me warmly and provided information regarding bus routes and local attractions. the room i stayed in was clean and tidy. breakfast was presentable and tasty. the hotel's location is a short walk from the train station and local shops (sainsbury's is very close by).

I enjoyed the convenience of the location. It was close to many attractions. The breakfasts were delicious (I especially loved the variety!). The staff was attentive. They provided helpful local knowledge.
The room felt a little chilly. I think it might have been due to its proximity to the entrance. The pillows were not comfortable. Parking was very tight.

the breakfast service was efficient that's for sure.
the host didn't bother to offer a hand with my heavy suitcase. the off-site health club is miles away too far if you don't have a car.
