i moved to the uk and explored the lake district. i stayed for three nights and it was amazing! i got my room key early, and the room size was perfect. the entire hotel felt very cosy. there were towels for my dog at the entrance. it felt very private, and i loved it.

i didn't see the management in person. contacting staff required using sms and call.

The room was clean and I found the bed quite comfortable.

The noise from the street was quite disruptive , even with the earplugs provided. I could hear traffic and noise from the pub across the street , , made it difficult to sleep. I also noticed the hotel needed some maintenance. It seemed a bit run-down despite its central location.

The location was central. You step right out into the heart of things.

We booked a beautiful king room, but it certainly didn't feel beautiful. The carpets were quite dirty, contributing to a rather pungent smell throughout the room. I also found a pair of cheap socks, seemingly left by previous guests, in one of the drawers. LITTLE things like that make a difference.
