Really good Guest House Experience

Pauline and Bill are cute hosts. The double room featured a comfortable settee, TV, and free WiFi. The room felt private due to mature tree cover outside providing privacy from neighbours. Breakfasts had a choice of cooked items and continental items of good quality.
The TV was mounted on the wall to the right of the bed. This made watching it from the bed somewhat difficult. The signal for the TV also had issues coming and going.

The double room offered a cosy settee, a TV, and complimentary WiFi. the mature trees outside contributed to additional privacy from distant neighbours, which I found most fortunate, and relaxing.

The hotel has easy access to train and bus services, situated about 200 meters away, what certainly expands mobility options. Kendal is a short drive, being only about ten minutes away by car.

pauline and bill are friendly hosts. the breakfast was AMAZING!!! it had a great choice. the room was clean and tidy. there was free parking available. i really recommend this place.

the breakfast was HUGE! i devoured the smoked salmon with scrambled eggs. the room had everything, like loads of tea, coffee, and even yummy biscuits!
the tv remote was inside a plastic bag, and its usability was impacted negatively.

wonderful hostspacious roomtasty sausage
pauline and bill are wonderful hosts. they seem to have thought of everything you could need for your stay. the room was clean, very spacious and comfortable. breakfast was delicious (the sausages were extra tasty!).
the tv remote was a challenge to operate through a little plastic bag.

Pauline and Bill are AMAZING hosts! They offer a delicious full English breakfast with perfectly cooked eggs. The guesthouse is only five minutes from the train station. I found the beds comfy and the towels fluffy. The hot shower was powerful, a real treat after a long day.
The tv remote was in a small plastic bag (I'd prefer to handle it directly).
