Really good Stay, Refined Comfort and Excellent Cuisine

The Christmas decorations offered a warm welcome. The menu presented wonderful meals. I found the beds very comfortable. The shower had good water pressure. The staff were friendly and courteous. I enjoyed cereal, toast, coffee, and a full English breakfast prepared fresh by the chef.
The steep path from the car park to the hotel might pose difficulties for elderly guests or those with mobility issues. Extra caution is advised when navigating this area.

The hotel was very clean. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The room had a comfortable bed. The food was delicious with plenty of choice. I appreciated the calming atmosphere.

Gaynor welcomed us warmly, and our dog felt welcome too. ionela served us a beautiful roast beef dinner. It was gorgeous!!! the room was warm and clean, with even a welcome pack for our dog. breakfast included superb full english options with the best sausages and bacon.
the path from the car park to the hotel includes steep steps. this may be problematic for elderly guests or those with mobility issues.

the location was convenient, and the room size was acceptable (it was adequate for my needs).
i found the service to be lacking warmth. a staff member seemed unaware of my dog's presence, despite prior notification. the room, although nice and modern, suffered from a noticeable amount of dust, and there were dead flies on the window sills, quite unpleasant

the staff was so friendly. the room was comfortable and really clean. i loved the chocolates and locally sourced food (the jam was amazing). our dog even got a welcome box, a thoughtful touch.
