lovely coastal stay

warm greeting local restaurants cozy atmosphere comfortable stay
The host greeted us warmly upon arrival. She offered thoughtful recommendations for local restaurants. the room was beautiful, very clean, and cozy. It seemed like home. amenities was really nice. I had everything needed for a comfortable stay. the seaview was beautiful. I was able to see the beach clearly from my window.
The parking area at the rear of the hotel was a bit narrow. Maneuvering my car was a little tricky.

The hotel is located near shops and restaurants. It is only a 10-minute walk to the shops. there are restaurants in the area, including the wild olive, it is a fantastic italian restaurant. the beach is also conveniently close.

The room had fresh towels and toiletries. Access was simple, and the host gave helpful itinerary suggestions. decor was fabulous. the breakfast was good. I enjoyed the variety of options. the entire place was super clean!

a very good stay

beach proximity good view railway trip
the closeness to the beach was appreciated. my room had a fine sea view. i went on a steam railway trip the next day at ravenglass and eskdale. it was under 15 minutes car drive so was good for me. the hotel was so close to the beach.
the hot water in the shower was not working after two nights of my stay. the hotel's appearance was run down. the back of the hotel had old scaffolding erected.
