superb stay
knowledgeable hostexcellent breakfastsimple lock
the host was very knowledgeable about the local area. the breakfast was excellent with good location near muncaster castle for parkrun. the facilities exceeded our previous experiences and the rooms were very clean.
i found it a bit inconvenient that the front door was not lockable and remained open all the time. rooms had only simple locks causing security concerns.

the breakfast was delicious it was freshly cooked and provided a great start to each day of my stay there were ample choices available catering to varied preferences.

easy parking was available making arrival and departure smooth. the location was convenient near ravenglass railway providing quick access to attractions. the hotel maintained cleanliness throughout all common areas.

the room had dual aspect windows allowing ample natural light and a lovely view over the fell. the bed was comfortable and i slept well each night. the en-suite shower facility was modern and well kept.

the guesthouse is situated in a quiet location it is convenient for exploring the eastern side of the lake district. access to muncaster castle parkrun is really good from this location. the area offers scenic beauty.

excellent hostlovely breakfastcosy roomsecurity lacksimple lockfront door
jo is a great host. the room had all the tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and biscuits i wanted. the wifi worked good, there was parking available, and the shower was hot.
i thought that not being able to lock the front door was a problem. it was open all the time. the rooms only had simple locks so security felt lacking. i think this might not be following legal requirements.
