Wonderful stay with great service

The staff let us have the room early, so we could attend a wedding on time. I appreciated that greatly. The room was comfortable and very clean. I rested well. Breakfast was very good! The location is good for village stays. I would visit again.
The evening menu was a little disappointing, though the pub itself was nice. Nobody else came into the restaurant throughout the evening. They just visited the pub.

The room was very super clean and cozy. It featured homely decor! The room also had a coffee machine. a kettle, which I found very useful. I felt relaxed in the space.

The food is bistro pub grub. The portions were generous and tasty. Breakfast was very good. I found the food delicious! The Leg of Lamb was also very tasty.

The hotel has easy access to walks through ancient woodlands and meadows. The location is good. It is near the local village! It was easy to cross the road to start hikes.

The bathrooms are amazingly luxurious, I found! The staff provided a great friendly welcome. The interior is cosy and the atmosphere is nice, it felt homely. The staff were lovely and very accommodating.

The room impressed me. It had both a nespresso machine and lots of space! the staff were so cute and eager to help with anything i needed. i enjoyed the food, especially the pork scratchings (i will be back just for those!).
the shower drainage in my room was a bit slow, slightly inconvenient. i hope they can fix it soon!
