Excellent Stay Near the Lakes

warm welcome modern interiors shower facilities adequate breakfast

The staff offered a warm welcome upon arrival. My room had modern interiors and was finished to a high standard. The bathroom included modern shower and bath facilities (I found that very convenient). The full English breakfast was adequate, setting a good tone for the day.

The limited choice at the bar was slightly disappointing.

Wonderful stay with great service

early check-in clean room delicious breakfast good location

The staff let us have the room early, so we could attend a wedding on time. I appreciated that greatly. The room was comfortable and very clean. I rested well. Breakfast was very good! The location is good for village stays. I would visit again.

The evening menu was a little disappointing, though the pub itself was nice. Nobody else came into the restaurant throughout the evening. They just visited the pub.

The hotel has easy access to walks through ancient woodlands and meadows. The location is good. It is near the local village! It was easy to cross the road to start hikes.

fantastic experience

nespresso machine helpful staff

The room impressed me. It had both a nespresso machine and lots of space! the staff were so cute and eager to help with anything i needed. i enjoyed the food, especially the pork scratchings (i will be back just for those!).

the shower drainage in my room was a bit slow, slightly inconvenient. i hope they can fix it soon!

i found lovely touches like the coffee maker quite useful. the location worked well for accessing the lake district attractions. the steam train ride. the breakfast impressed me a lot.
