cramped dining room tv remote
the breakfast setup felt cramped. the dining room was quite small (i felt a bit like a sardine). i really disliked how close everyone sat to each other. also, the tv remote needed new batteries. i had to get up to change channels.

Acceptable Stay, Some Issues
tiny dining room shared bathrooms
The owner greeted us in a friendly manner. This was helpful as we were on our 4th and 5th day of the Cumbria way.
The dining room felt very cramped. It was tiny. Everyone seemed to get in each other's way during breakfast. This felt more like staying in a family member's home than a proper bed and breakfast.

good retreat!
perfect eggs convenient location
I found the breakfast fabulous. The poached eggs were cooked perfectly, just as i like them. the location was also great. It was a short walk into town, so convenient.

missing elevator difficult parking
The breakfast was acceptable. It had basic options.
I was disappointed to find no elevator. Carrying luggage to the upper floors was difficult (especially after a long day). The street parking was a real issue. I had to park several blocks away. This was very inconvenient.
