The staff were warm and professional. The restaurant service was efficient, and the menu included good choices. It catered for various allergies with generous portions. Parking behind the building was convenient because finding a spot nearby can be difficult.
The carpet in the room needed a thorough cleaning.

charming stay by the sea

I found the staff warm, offering a genuine welcome . the food was also very well prepared. Dinner and breakfast were both excellent, with the fish and chips standing out. the hotel provided a lovely atmosphere, ensuring a relaxing getaway.
The shower pressure was slightly lower than i expected. it was manageable.

the staff opened the cocktail bar for us, great. i enjoyed some lovely cocktails. the food in the hotel restaurant had a great portion size.
The room was heated by a blow air heater on the wall. The room became too warm. when it switched off, it went cold immediately. it was also very noisy.

the view from the room window WAS boring. children ran along the corridor noisily, and i did report it. one bulb was blown, another flickered, and the last one was dim. the pub next door made excessive noise, and there was live MUSIC.

the location was good for exploring the town center. the food in the restaurant was pleasant. i found the staff to be nice and helpful. the car park access was convenient.
the room i had was quite basic. i observed some damp spots on the wall, not great. a chair in the room would have been useful. the stairs were difficult for me.
