Excellent Sea View and Peaceful Stay

easy accessamazing viewquiet locationpoor communication
I have stayed here twice recently and found the self check-in process simple. Keys and information were on a table upon arrival. The location is excellent for accessing Wasdale, only 25 minutes away via the shore of Wast Water. I enjoyed the beach being right outside the window, a lovely view to wake up to each morning.
I noticed there was no hot water for showering when I arrived and the following morning. I contacted the hotel directly but did not receive a response, I wish I had a partial refund or at least some communication.
Rooms
9/10
The spacious room was well-equipped with a large-screen TV and ample storage. The ensuite bathroom featured a walk-in shower. they provided plenty of fresh towels, shower gel, and tea and coffee making facilities.
Service
8/10
Housekeeping staff were friendly and ensured everything remained stocked up regularly. The hotel is unmanned, which allowed unrestricted access, permitting me to come and go as I pleased without disturbing anyone.
Facilities
10/10
Good parking was available on site, I found this very useful for my rental car. The quiet location offered peace, without the noise from other people. It is located just a stone's throw from the beach.
