my room had fine views OF the estuary from two windows. i found the room tastefully decorated and very comfortable.
entry IS via external steep steps, which might be difficult for some.

fantastic views spacious room clean room lovely food
the bay room offered fantastic views and was separate from the main building a very short walk from the pub. the room itself was spacious and clean it. food was lovely at the hotel.
the steep external steps to the room were slightly challenging. the bed was small.

mixed feelings about the room
external steep steps tiny shower
the staff was lovely the room's location was also good plus it had good facilities in the room and bathroom
the room was too warm entry to the room also required using steep external steps that i found difficult to manage the shower was similarly tiny

perfect getaway!
estuary views excellent breakfast friendly staff large suite
the suite offered wonderful views over the estuary. breakfast was available at a nearby hotel, the pennington, it was excellent. the staff displayed such a friendly attitude. i found the suite quite large.
the room was rather warm!

amazing views comfy sofa wicker chairs thin cushions
The room had amazing views. The sky and sea were so beautiful! i also loved the comfy sofa. it was really nice to sit and enjoy the scenery from there.
the wicker chairs in the room were not comfortable at all. the cushions were too thin, and i could feel the slates beneath. the cushions were a real letdown.

Wonderful stay!
estuary view comfortable sofa good breakfast excellent food
The room provided fantastic views of the estuary. It had three windows facing the water. There was a comfortable sofa in the room and I watched the changing sky. Breakfast at the nearby Pennington hotel was very good. I also had evening meals in the pubwith excellent food.
My room was quite warm, even with the windows open. It could use better ventilation.

The hotel staff was really lovely. They were always ready to help with directions and recommendations. The breakfast service was prompt, and the staff remembered my coffee order each morning. The staff were very attentive, without being intrusive.

The hotel is right on the front. It is very easy to access local attractions. The village had two dining options, and both offered great food, the view was fine! The area felt safe and quiet during the evening.

The suite was large and spacious. It included a sitting room and dining area. The bathroom was especially excellent. It featured a freestanding bath and a large shower. The bed was a little firm though very comfortable.

Breakfast was served at the Pennington hotel, a short walk away. The food was very good and they offered a varied menu. I dined at the pub below the hotel, the food was excellent. It was high-quality and well-prepared.
