wonderful stay

huge bed equipped en-suite various seating
room 6 was on the top floor and included beams plus a huge bed. the en-suite was well equipped and provided a large shower. the beer garden was well planned and offered various seating types. breakfast was delivered quickly and it was perfect.
the sign for the inn was only half illuminated upon arrival.

the room featured a comfortable bed and clean modern decor, i could control the temperature. the bathroom had good water pressure and included fresh towels daily, which i found helpful.

the staff accommodated a request for a table outside before our meal arrived, which i appreciated. breakfast service was quick and efficient, it ensured a prompt start to the day. the beer garden was well maintained.

The location offered convenient access to nearby walking trails. I also appreciated that the hotel has a restaurant on site. The breakfast included a good selection of hot and cold items.
The television in my room did not function . The shower head had noticeable limescale. The heating system was also not working, and the room was quite cold overnight.

The room was spacious and immaculate. The food was good, and the garden was lovely. The staff were friendly (I appreciated this a lot). Easy parking made arrival simple. The location is good for touring the Western Lake District.
I noticed a very slight limescale deposit on the bathroom shower head.
