The continental breakfast offered ample choice including cereals, toast, and waffles. A designated table was available, convenient. The staff provided cutlery and plates when I chose to eat in my room one evening. The service was so sweet!!!

The staff was friendly and helpful! They provided detailed information about local trails. I found the room to be clean. It included thoughtful touches such as extra blankets. The location was perfect! it offered easy access to several trails. The breakfast included many gluten-free options.
The traditional bar area had a slightly musty smell, though the atmosphere was cute, making for a minor concern.

The room was COLD. The heating barely worked. i complained and was told it was on a timer. the breakfast room was also chilly, not pleasant at all.

the hotel features amazing views of the countryside (from inside and outside). staff members are very helpful, polite, and attentive. the wide range of available drinks was a plus. my upgraded room offered an even better view, which i appreciated.
the breakfast room felt a little cold one morning.

I really enjoyed the goodie bag for my dog upon arrival. It was such a thoughtful touch. the staff happily provided cutlery and plates when i chose to eat in my room after a long day. the walking routes available from reception were very helpful for exploring the area, too.
I found the continental breakfast a bit limited. there seemed to be a lack of interaction with guests by the management or owners. A simple meet and greet would have been nice.

The room was clean. It didn't feel like a dog walkers hotel at all. the room's cleanliness was really good, and the views towards were amazing, offering a good visual experience. blankets, biscuits, and a guidebook added nice finishing touches.

the hotel had a bookshelf on the landing with books to borrow. dog blankets and toys were available for use in the room which was appreciated. there is a traditional bar and restaurant that was quite busy!

staff at the reception desk provided walking routes and local gift information. the barman was friendly and knowledgeable about local ales and guest ciders, a real bonus. the staff were happy to give us cutlery and plates, which i found helpful.
