perfect location walking routes amazing breakfast musty room old hotel check in
the location is perfect, if you love walking, there are lots of routes from the farm. it means, there's no need to drive, exactly what we wanted. breakfast is amazing and the room is comfy to be in. i love that the views are very nice too.
the room was a little musty. i understand it, it is an old hotel. i did wish the check in was more defined as we waited for a while to check in.

Sarah sent directions. she greeted us. Sarah spoke about our day. She showed us our room. She explained timings for breakfast. The room was perfect. It included a hot shower. the room included a comfy bed. The room was warm. the room was COZY.
the room was a little musty. it is an old hotel. i UNDERSTAND that.

The guesthouse sits in a quiet hamlet. Farmlands are nearby. Valleys surround it. The CATBELL fells surround it. the area is great for walking. it is away from busy areas.

Breakfast was very tasty. It included cooked options. There were lovely yoghurt options. Fruit was also available. Cereal was an option too. the breakfast was made from local produce.

underwhelming shower temperature
cold room lack of hot water
the breakfast was superb it had amazing quality ingredients and a huge choice.
i arrived cold and in the dark the room was very cold and the heating was off a window was open so it was really cold. i had to figure out how to work the radiators in the bedroom and bathroom i couldn't get the shower to get hot and we couldn't increase the temperature at all.

Really good stay at a charming farmhouse
helpful owner comfortable beds original features fine views
Sarah, the owner, offered information on walks and provided fabulous breakfasts. The farmhouse features original details and really comfy beds. I also appreciated the fine views available around the area. We found the lack of television to be a positive aspect.
The road leading there requires careful driving, due to its narrowness.

Breakfasts were delicious each morning. They were one of the best i have tasted. The quality of the breakfast ingredients was amazing, also the choice was huge. The breakfast room is large, providing ample space.

The location provides amazing scenery. The guest house is situated at the bottom of a mountain. The hotel lies completely in the middle of nature.
