fantastic stay!
accommodating staff clean rooms good location
the breakfast was class!!! the staff were so accommodating when i asked for specific things. i found the location ideal and the rooms clean. the price and the location were both good.
i have no complaints whatsoever.

a lovely stay at the queens!
friendly staff great breakfast convenient location relaxing atmosphere
the staff was very friendly. the breakfast was great, i loved the quiet atmosphere. the location is really convenient, close to the train station. the beer garden at the rear was nice.
the decor in the room felt a little old.

the hotel benefits from its close proximity to the train station, a major convenience for travellers. it is a short walk, maybe 10-15 minutes, to the coast to coast zero point and the town shops are easily accessible too.

I noticed the pleasant beer garden at the rear of the building. It seemed very popular. the breakfast area was quiet, and i did appreciate that the food was plentiful. the atmosphere was very cute!

cooked breakfasts coffee service clean towels
the breakfast had omelettes. A selection of cooked breakfasts was AVAILABLE. I also noted soap, tea and coffee, and towels were PROVIDED.

friendly staff good breakfast old carpets rusty fittings
the staff were friendly and polite. the breakfast had plenty of choice. i needed to start the day well, and it worked. the room was clean, and basic facilities were provided.
the carpets looked old and sticky. the paintwork was poor everywhere. i also noted rusty fittings in the bathroom. the bathroom mirror light was not working.
