a charming stay!

delicious breakfast helpful staff beautiful furnishings well-kept garden
the breakfast was delicious. the building has a grade 2 listing and is furnished beautifully! the gardens are also lovely and very well maintained.
finding minor issues proves difficult. the lack of provided keys for rooms felt a little unusual.

the house had beautiful grounds and a garden. the staff was very friendly. the breakfast included a good range of choices (cereals, fruit, yoghurt, toast, eggs or full english).
the charm faded quickly when we raised our pre-declared dietary requirements.

beautiful decor friendly staff delicious breakfast
The house has beautiful decor, and the setting seemed like stepping back in time. my room was a beautiful room. It had everything i needed. the breakfast was the best i have had. The owner welcomed us personally and the staff were friendly.
The charm faded, though. I raised my dietary requirements. the owner met our request with a theatrical sigh. accommodating our needs required too much effort.

grand house comfy beds charming character amazing rooms
The house is very grand. The beds provided the comfiest sleep I have ever experienced. The hotel presents a lot of charm and character. The rooms are amazing. The service I received was also very good.
The shower in our bathroom would have given this lovely hotel top marks for everything. This was just a very teeny gripe.

This house was beautiful. The team was VERY friendly and cute. They kept everything tidy and clean. I loved the well-kept garden. It had open space for kids to run around.
The charm of the hotel was somewhat diminished due to minor maintenance issues.

lovely house grounds exploration amazing staff
I found the house lovely. grounds exploration was great. my kids enjoyed watching dvds by the open fire. staff service amazed me. Nothing seemed too much trouble.
I waited over an hour for breakfast. Most of it was hardly eatable.
