The hotel location suits my walks well. The decor was nice and well kept. I liked the outdoor seating at the small pub and I enjoyed drinks in the back beer garden in the sunshine.
The tables were a little sticky at breakfast one morning. It was not pleasant.

the room had lots of space. it also was dog friendly.
the extractor fan wasn't working in the bathroom so walls and floor were soaking wet. reserved a table for dinner but staff didn't have details. probably would not book again.

the double beautiful room was warm and spacious. the bed provided a comfortable sleep. breakfast at the inn across the road was delicious and filling.
the parking situation proved difficult. the communal areas in the main hotel were crowded, especially during meal times. noise from cleaners early in the morning disrupted my sleep.
