late breakfast grumpy receptionist
The room was very comfy and tidy. It was acceptable.
I was quite annoyed that the cooked breakfast wasn't available until 8.00 am. This didn't suit my schedule at all. the woman at the reception seemed grumpy when I checked out. Her demeanor. I really think staff should always be friendly, even early in the morning.

Really good Food and Friendly Service

quality ingredients fantastic food immaculate room friendly atmosphere
Breakfast was included. It featured quality ingredients. The food in the restaurant was fantastic every evening. I particularly enjoyed the warm scotch egg and a pint on Saturday afternoon. The rooms were immaculate, and the atmosphere felt warm with locals and visitors present. The staff remembered my drink at the bar. I liked that attention.
I was looking forward to a Grange bakery bread sandwich. The bread seemed dry though and not freshly baked. I hope it was just an off day. Everything else was excellent.
Rooms
9/10
The double room had a comfortable bed and ample space for luggage. There was also a modern television with satellite channels and complimentary tea and coffee making facilities available for a relaxing stay. The bathroom featured fluffy towels and high-quality toiletries.
