Fantastic Stay with Fell Views
fell views friendly staff breakfast selection cosy room
The location offers views of the fells, easily accessible via a short walk (the view was amazing). The breakfast selection was good. Dinner was well-prepared. The staff were friendly, helpful, and willing to assist with any request. The newly refurbished rooms had a clean, cosy feel.
The room decor felt a little outdated.

amazing location comfortable quilt cold room weird sound
the location was amazing. AS soon as i left my room, i saw views of the nearby hills. the mattress and quilt in my room were REALLY comfortable.
The room was cold! the radiator did NOT get warm. It stayed cold . the shower wasn't good and made A weird sound.

Wonderful Stay!
friendly staff early check-in thoughtful gesture
The staff were helpful and friendly! They accommodated our early check-in, a huge help since we had a wedding to get to. I even got my welcome cookies the next day because they weren't ready when I first arrived. It was so thoughtful.
The room's temperature was a little off. The radiator wasn't quite heating up as much as I expected.

Our room was very clean! The decor was tasteful and the ambient lighting created a super cozy vibe. I found the bed to be comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep.

There is ample space for parking , made arrival stress-free! The external terrace is spacious. It allows guests to enjoy a drink when the weather is favorable and the facilities are clean.

The service was 5 star! The ladies at breakfast were genuinely interested in my plans for the day. They gave helpful suggestions of where to go on a rainy day. The entire staff were so hospitable and attentive.

Really good Stay!
early check-in delicious breakfast
The staff ensured I received my welcome cookies the next day. They weren't ready when I arrived due to my early check-in! I also found the breakfast menu to be delicious, with fresh items available!!!

Excellent Stay at Lake District Inn
good variety local products tasteful decor ambient lighting
The breakfast offered a good variety of locally sourced products. The room was spotlessly clean it featured tasteful decor. The ambient lighting in the room enhanced the cozy atmosphere I enjoyed.
The shower made a groaning sound when used. The hot water supply for the bath was inadequate. I had to boil the kettle multiple times to get the bath warm enough.

The inn is within walking distance of less busy hikes like Barrow. The location provided excellent opportunities for outdoor activities. I found the surrounding scenery beautiful. The proximity to walking trails enhanced my stay.
