some issues during stay
hard mattress insufficient staff
The bathroom light failed twice , it left me with no illumination in the bathroom as there was no window for natural light. This was frustrating. the bed was also uncomfortably hard. It was difficult to get a good night's sleep. i think the hotel would benefit from more staff. The current setup put too much strain on the individual working and impacted service quality.

great menu cute bar blown light staff shortage
i loved the breakfast at this hotel. there was a great menu selection. there was a warm and cute bar (for a late afternoon drink!).
the bathroom light blew twice. we did not have any lights in the bathroom as a result. the hotel needs more staff to function efficiently, in my opinion.

great host really good breakfast service relaxed ambiance
david proved to be a great host . the breakfast service was really good, offering spot-on views from the dining area. i found the ambiance delightfully relaxed, embracing a country feel, which i appreciated.
the bathroom light malfunctioned repeatedly, i did not have light in the bathroom throughout my stay. natural light was absent because there was no window in the bathroom. this made it inconvenient to use the facilities comfortably.

friendly staff comfortable room lovely surroundings
i stayed in a beautiful four-poster room lake view! the views were amazing. the staff was cute and friendly. i thought the hotel's surroundings were especially lovely! also, the rooms were clean and very comfortable.
the duvet felt a bit too heavy for the weather i thought.
