convenient stay for cyclists

bike storage pre-arrival communication sister hotel
i was very happy they accommodated our group of cyclists by letting us keep our bikes in the rooms it. the team contacted me beforehand about a possible event on site and offered us rooms at their sister hotel. this meant we had a really good night's sleep before our c2c bike ride and i really appreciate their attention to detail.
The breakfast was simple, with only a choice of cereal, fresh fruit, and bread. This was not what i expected from a continental breakfast. i think the description could be clearer.

charming stay!

great team sister hotel
the team noticed our needs and moved our group without any fuss! i appreciate that the hotel team contacted me prior to arrival to inform me about a party with a band and offered alternative rooms at their sister hotel. it was a nice gesture, i really appreciated it!
the breakfast was self-service, and the cutlery was not enough for the guests. i think that the hotel should offer more cutlery during the breakfast hours.

lovely stay near scafell pike

helpful stuff good atmosphere huge portion sizes chippy chips
the team was super helpful i find. i enjoyed the good atmosphere and friendly vibe in the pub. the portion sizes were huge, and the chips tasted like proper chippy chips i loved. they even let me take some food home.
music was a little loud because it is a pub, but that stopped later. the room was a bit warm, but i could live with it.

friendly staff great beer limited cutlery self-service
i found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. the pub food was worth the money and of great quality. the beer was also great.
the breakfast was self-service. there was not enough cutlery for all guests. i also wasn't sure if guests were expected to wash their own dishes. it felt awkward.

a lovely stay near the sea

late check-in festival grounds free access same day
i booked a last minute room on the same day i needed it. the staff accomodated my late check in. it was close to the festival grounds, muncaster castle. i had free access to prime, and i enjoyed that feature.
the bathroom was small and i found the shower tiny, a minor inconvenience.

The staff was friendly. The quality beer was great. I visited with five friends for a weekend, while walking Scafell Pike. The location was ideal, and the outside seating area provided a nice space on a sunny day.
