amazing stay with fine lake views

lake location helpful staff great food

the location blew me away it was right on lake windermere so peaceful plus it was away from the busy spots i found some great places to eat nearby the staff was super helpful with check-in and everything else i needed

i noticed the prices for the twin and double rooms next to each other were different that was a bit confusing

waters edge nice pizza

I appreciated the location directly on the water's edge. The views of the boats and wildlife were fine. the pizza i had one evening was also very nice. it tasted like a real italian one.

wow! what a great place!

great staff free parking amazing location

The room was a great size. i found the food to be nice, especially breakfast. all the staff members were excellent and friendly. I'll be back. i enjoyed the free parking too! the location is amazing. this stay was so easy, just what i needed.

crossing the road to get to the main building was a tiny inconvenience. it wasn't a big deal though.

atrocious bacon dry eggs

The service at check-in felt disorganized. i waited at the bar among dirty glasses to check in. It took a while. the breakfast was disappointing. the bacon was atrocious. also, the scrambled eggs were dry.

sound insulation constant water

The breakfast had a big choice. It was slightly chaotic with random queuing but it worked.

I think the check-in time is too late and the check-out time is too early. Those hours felt very short. Room 63 was noisy with zero sound insulation between us and room 62, annoying. the building's plumbing seemed to run through the walls of this room. We were kept awake by constant water flow. It was substandard for the high rate.

great shower fresh fruit hot options

i stayed in a cosy double. the room had a great shower with good pressure. the included breakfast offered fresh fruit (i loved it) and several hot options.

i noticed a slight delay in getting extra towels one evening, (but it was promptly resolved).
