comfortable stay with a great location

helpful staff home-cooked food great location
the staff was helpful, and the breakfast service was good. i appreciated the home-cooked food, the taste and quality stood out to me. i also liked that it was close to the estuary, so a walk down to the sea was easy.
the public areas were too cool for my liking.

the hotel provides easy access to lovely walks and is located in a quiet area. beach walks are accessible from here, perfect for a few days of rest. this is a great area for dog walks.

mixed feelings about this stay

cramped room limited channels
the breakfast was decent enough i guess it was edible.
the room size was really cramped for a twin room i could barely move i think it is in urgent need of an update the tv was quite small with limited channels it really seemed like stepping back in time

friendly staff homemade food dog-friendly space cozy touch
the staff were friendly and helpful. i enjoyed the homemade food, including the raspberry frangipane dessert. dogs were welcome in the bar area. the real fire added a cozy touch to the bar.
the public areas felt a bit too cool, it was slightly chilly.

charming stay with good touches

super clean room friendly staff delicious lunch
The super clean room had everything i needed. (the little treats were a nice touch!) the friendly staff were helpful. lunch was delicious. I had a roast turkey christmas dinner and it was a really good portion.

great location shore walks convenient service
the location is great with walks to the shore i found that jenny brown's point is nearby the bus service to the train station is convenient the breakfast was plentiful i also saw there was a good selection for vegetarians
i was very disappointed i walked quite a distance intending to get a sandwich i then found out they couldn't manage this because they had a party booked
