charming countryside getaway

the room included fresh milk daily , allowing for convenient tea and coffee preparation. the bar downstairs felt super cosy and authentic with a true country pub atmosphere. i found the breakfast options great. the beer garden was cute , filled with greenery and situated right next to a stream.
the wi-fi signal was a bit weak and didn't quite reach the room, a slight inconvenience.

i stayed for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed the walks. returning to the delicious food and friendly staff was a treat. the hotel is also dog friendly, always a plus.
The mattress was uncomfortable. I could feel the springs. my room seemed dated and a little tired. a very strong smell of odouriser was noticeable.

I appreciated the friendly staff. They were very helpful at check-in. The breakfast was delicious with homemade treacle bread. Poached eggs and avocado were also available.
The mattress was uncomfortable. I could feel the springs (this was disappointing). The room was dated. There was a very strong smell of odouriser.
