Really good Anniversary Apartment Upgrade

My partner and i arrived for our anniversary and learned our room received an upgrade to an apartment. The apartment was wonderful and very clean. I enjoyed spending the night in such a lovely space. The service was amazing. The ladies working that night were very helpful.
I found the room windows could not be opened. There was lots of condensation and it smelled damp.

the staff was friendly and cute! the location is beautiful with amazing views. my room was modern and clean, with lovely decor. the grounds are well maintained with beautiful landscaping.
the bar prices were a little higher than expected, but that's a very small issue.

The staff accommodated an early check-in when my wife was ill. This was a great help to us! The views from the hotel extend to the Lakeland Fells. Our apartment included a living room and kitchen area. On-site dining was available, and restaurants were nearby.
The minibar prices were high.
