great breakfast fine location helpful staff tired decor unfriendly management early closing
The breakfast was great. The location is fine with waterfalls nearby. Staff members were friendly and helpful .
The decor seems a bit tired. Management was not so user friendly on departure. The bar closed before the scheduled time.

amazing location friendly staff relaxing lounge
The location is amazing. There are great walks right from the door (i especially enjoyed the trails by the river!). the staff was friendly and helpful throughout my visit. i also appreciated the lounge. It was perfect.
the bar closed a bit earlier than the advertised time, so i missed a nightcap one evening.

unusable wifi limited dinner menu
The breakfast selection was quite extensive including fresh bread.
i found several issues the wifi was completely unusable staff seemed disinterested in resolving it the dinner menu felt very limited and lacked any daily specials.

expensive water extra gravy charge
The garden area provided tables for drinks.
The service level disappointed me on my second visit. I was charged £4.75 for a bottle of still water when tap water had been freely available before. I also had to pay £2.50 for extra gravy. The initial portion was insufficient. This felt excessive.

adequate stay at this hotel
beautiful location wonderful breakfast tired decor early closure
the location is beautiful i enjoyed walking from the hotel each day. breakfasts were wonderful i liked the variety.
the decor seemed a bit tired it could use some updating. the bar closed earlier than advertised this was disappointing after an evening concert.

discolored grout missing batteries
The staff was friendly and helpful.
My room was not thoroughly cleaned. The bathroom floor had noticeable stains, and the shower grout was discolored. The television remote lacked batteries, I had to request replacements from the reception. These oversights detracted from the overall experience.

a really PEACEFUL spot
peaceful location friendly staff
the hotel sits in a lovely location. staff members were very friendly. i got a ten percent discount voucher for a local cafe, slates. the village has a regular bus.
