Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
Lindeth Fell Country House is often praised for its beautiful estate featuring lush gardens and scenic views overlooking the lake, providing a tranquil setting for guests. The Grasmere room is a particular favorite, offering spacious accommodations, a stunning bathtub, and amazing views of the lake and mountains; the hotel has been updated tastefully, retaining the soul of the house, and some guests have observed limited menu choices for dinner. Many appreciate the high-quality breakfast with a wide range of items, and some have found the location convenient, with a pleasant walk into Bowness being easily accessible.

mixed feelings about this place

bathroom cleanlinesslimited breakfast
The room i booked was a so called 'beautiful suite', but it felt cramped. the bathroom wasnt clean. I seen mold in the shower and rust on the towel rack. this really bothered me. also, the breakfast was limited and the coffee was weak. i think they can improve they're attention to detail.

the staff were friendly. the hotel had ample parking for its size.
the cancellation policy was frustrating. i booked months in advance, then they canceled because they said the price was an error. i think it was terrible they didn't honor the original price and canceled without a clear explanation.

The staff was eager to help in every way! i loved the details in the interiors. extra attention and care are evident throughout the hotel. the lush garden was beautiful and provided a calm atmosphere. I spent a lot of time there, relaxing after my hikes.
my room was a bit outdated. i also didn't think it was as clean as it could be, a bit disappointing since all the furniture seemed old.
